S/S Constructors personnel have removed a section of the top of a tank where stairs and handrail allowed materials to collect and corrode the tank top.   A section of tank top 3'-0" wide and 40'-0" long was removed.  New materials are being placed on the tank. Prior to removing the tank section a personnel safety line was installed. All men have full body harnesses and are tied off for fall protection. The new top section will be fully seal welded and the new stair & handrail sections will be installed.
